We all have heard about the IELTS examination and many must have had an experience with it too. However, for those unaware of this test’s pattern, it consists of four modules – Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. It is a center-based test where one has to visit the selected center irrespective of the mode.
On the other hand, Duolingo being the non-center-based test, came as a saviour for many, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic that made visiting the test center tough for numerous test-takers. Because of this, DET, which is taken at home with the help of the internet, is now accepted as a substitute for IELTS and TOEFL at a significant number of universities.
